Join Us for an Educational Farm Adventure!
At Hogans Place petting farm, we offer engaging and educational field trips that bring the wonders of farming to life for elementary school students. Our field trips are thoughtfully designed to align with Florida’s Department of Education science standards, ensuring that each experience is both fun and educational. Students will enjoy hands-on activities that teach them all about the growth of crops, the care of animals, and the importance of sustainable farming practices.
Throughout the day, students will explore how plants grow from seed to harvest and the role that pollinators, like bees and butterflies, play in the health of our ecosystem. They’ll get a closer look at how farm-to-table works, learning how food travels from the soil to our plates. Our farm provides a rich environment for learning about nature, animal care, and the interconnectedness of all living things on a farm.
Our field trips give students the opportunity to make real-world connections to science while gaining an appreciation for where their food comes from. With a focus on the importance of nature, sustainability, and the hands-on care of plants and animals, these field trips create lasting memories and provide valuable lessons that will stay with them long after they leave the farm.
